On-Lot Sewage/Septic Systems

In March of 2012, the London Grove Township Board of Supervisors adopted an On-Lot Sewage Management Ordinance. It requires property owners that have on-lot sewage/septic systems to pump at least once during a 3-year period.

Regular pumping is critical to the maintenance of a sewage/septic system and the proper function of the system. If systems are not regularly pumped out, issues such a overflows and backups could occur endangering groundwater as well as your health and safety. In addition, backups and overflows could cost you a significant amount of money in repairs that could of been avoided with a regular pump out schedule of the system.
