Woodview Road Bridge- The earliest anticipated delivery date for the initial delivery of precast components for the Woodview Road Bridge was mid to late December. Due to potential winter weather effecting both the quality of work and staff availability due to storm response we have set up an April delivery for the components. The Public Works Department will be working to complete vegetation removal, crane pad preparation and the demolition of the existing structure in the fall and winter months so that we can fully prepare the site in March for the April delivery.

Glen Willow Road Bridge- we have met on-site with Shane Morgan from the White Clay Creek Wild and Scenic Association to try to work out the bank erosion and associated permitting issues. We have a virtual meeting 8/15/2024 with the National Park Service with a follow up site meeting on August 29th to continue to try to obtain the required approvals without the significant cost increase and time delays associated with the upstream bank stabilization cost increase and time delays associated with the upstream bank stabilization and riparian buffer work, on privately owned property, that they desire.

Hilton Road Bridge- Ragan Engineering believes that they have worked out a valid design for the Hilton Road Bridge based on lessons learned from the Woodview and Glen Willow projects. They are working on some final tweaks and anticipated a GP-11 submittal by the end of August.

Chambers Road Bridge- The survey work has been completed for the Chambers Road Bridge and Ragan Engineering is currently working on the Hydrology and hydraulic Design.

Paschal Mill Road- Design work on the Paschal Mill Road crossing has been completed. Due to the smaller drainage area this crossing serves there is no General Permit Required and subsequently no NPS or Army Corm Review. We are currently looking for a Costars supplier for this pre-cast to potentially avoid the costs of bidding. We anticipate this crossing being completed in 2025.
