Responsibilities

The London Grove Township Parks and Recreation Board (PRB) was established to facilitate the development of Township parks for both active and passive recreational endeavors. Recently the PRB guided the development of the 125 acre Goddard Park, located at Route 841 and State Road.

The PRB also has developed plans for trails and bike-ways throughout the Township and currently is working to identify and protect green-way corridors, primarily along the Middle and East Branches of the White Clay Creek. As part of an overall network of multi-use arterial trails, the Board is working with subdivision applicants to design trail systems within each new development and connecting across the Township. The goal is to provide recreation opportunities and an alternative to some vehicular trips. These trails will be available for general public use.
