Recycling of Construction Waste
Notice
On April 2, 2008 London Grove Township adopted a Construction and Demolition Recycling Ordinance #145
Prior to the issuance a Building Permit is required for:
- Any residential project exceeding $25,000
- Any commercial project exceeding $5,000
- Most demolition projects
- A Waste Management Plan must be submitted
- 75% of the debris produced by the project must be diverted from landfills
- The material may be reused, recycled or salvaged
- Failure to comply with the ordinance may result in fines up to $1,000 per day, per violation, up to 30 days imprisonment and/or stop work orders
